BRIVIS GAS APPLIANCE AND RINNAI HEAT PUMP SERVICES
We offer all of our Eventus Energy customers an excellent after sales service, with on-going scheduled preventative maintenance servicing on your Brivis central heating/Add on Ice or Rinnai Air Conditioner system.
Regular servicing could save you large costs, and inconvenience associated with minor wear and tear leading to major mechanical break downs just when you need your heating or cooling the most.
By regular servicing your heating and cooling system, gas heater every 2 years and air conditioner every year, you will experience that your system will perform at there peak as it was installed yesterday.
Where fitted, the return air filter must be cleaned at least every two weeks during the heating/cooling season. A dirty air filter will reduce the efficiency, effectiveness and air quality of the system and also you will reduce energy consumption up to 30%.
To clean washable filters, remove the filter and clean with a vacuum cleaner. The filter may also be washed with warm soapy water. Ensure the filter is completely dry before installing it.
Our Technician will check and record in Service Maintenance Schedule the work which has been performed and inform if there are any issues. A copy of the Service Maintenance Schedule will be forwarded to you by email.
Air Filter and fresh air intake before cleaning
Eventus Energy Service has at all times replacement Filters in stock, although we recommend to change Air Filters every 2 years with servicing the Brivis heater we can supply you the Filter, Rubber and Tool do it yourself more regularly on demand. For more information please contact our office by phone or email.
Please note that the dust and dirt caught in the Air Filter comes from the Air you breath so its better to catch it in the Filters then in your Lounges.

PRODUCT WARRANTY
Rinnai Australia manufactures and distributes a broad range of home comfort products. Our brands include Rinnai, Brivis and APAC. Our products are renowned for their quality and reliability, but in the unlikely event you wish to make a Product Warranty claim, please note the following:
- All portable products and accessories, with the exception of portable gas heaters, should be returned to the place of purchase for assessment, repair or replacement. Please refer to the specific Terms and Conditions of Warranty accompanying the product.
- Fixed installation products include on-site service under warranty – for full details please refer to the specific Terms and Conditions of Warranty accompanying the product.
Fixed installation appliances require licensed contractors to select a product appropriate for the application, and to ensure it is installed and commissioned in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and all local and national regulatory requirements.
As some of our products are a component of a larger installed system, our Product Warranty is limited to the actual Rinnai product only. Our obligation is to ensure our product is free from manufacturing defects and that it performs in accordance with its specifications. All other aspects of the larger system, including its design, other equipment, components, accessories, gas, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and installation works, are the responsibility of their respective manufacturers, or the primary contractor from whom the system was purchased and or installed.
On inspection, in the event that our service personnel determine the Rinnai product is working to specification, the service call will not be covered by our Product Warranty and a fee will be incurred.
Please note that in this instance, Rinnai will be unable to carry out diagnostic, repair or rectification works on all other aspects of the larger system.
Before booking a service call, please refer to the Operation or Owner’s Manual accompanying the product, consult our troubleshooting guide or contact the installer / supplier of the system.

Reduce the running cost in the following ways:
• Turn the heater off any time heating is not required, such as when going to sleep or not home.
• Install insulation in the ceiling and walls.
• Seal gaps around doorways and windows.
• Make sure the return air and optional filter are clean.
• Reduce the set temperature.
Does my heater have a pilot light which needs to be lit?
No, these heaters have a direct spark electronic ignition.
Can I have zoning on my heater?
Yes. The SP6, 5 and 4 models do offer zoning, which operates via the networker wall control unit. Please consult our Eventus Energy Dealer
Can I run cooling through the same ductwork as my heater?
Add-on refrigerative air conditioning can run through the same ductwork as the heater. It uses the fan of the heater and the networker or programmable wall control unit.

How much condensate does my SP6 model produce?
Approximately 2 to 3 litres per hour of condensate may be produced under continuous running
conditions, depending on the size of the heater.
On my programmable wall control unit, I turn the fan on but nothing happens. Why?
This facility can be added, however the installer should be asked to add this connection.
Why does my heater come on early when using a Programmable thermostat?
The thermostat may have a feature (adaptive recovery) that learns how long it takes for the house to warm up. It then uses this knowledge to turn the heater on early so that the house has already reached the set temperature at the start of the period. Ask the installer to disable this feature if it is not required.
